How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #1Become the "HUNTED" Not the "HUNTER" For about the first 15 years of my network marketing career, I've been the hunter and at times it was UGLY. Now that we implemented a system whereby we became the hunted, my "luck" has really changed. It's all a part of the "system" we use to locate, sell, sort and sponsor new network marketers. For the last few years, we've even begun to take this one step further and sponsor other NETWORK MARKETERS. Some call it genealogy lists, but that doesn't even come close. Tracy Biller (a leading guru who advocates using mlm genealogy lists) teaches to cold call these leads and we are not about to teach you something that time-consuming or SILLY. Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #2Using a network marketing system allows the prospect to opt in to your business without you having to do much of anything other than promote your site. More importantly your system will do all the heavy work for you. It will present your business, sell your products, and more importantly, it will "ALLOW YOUR PROSPECT TO SELL THEMSELVES ON YOUR BUSINESS". Once a network marketing prospect sells themselves on your business, guess what happens? You now become the HUNTED. They will track you down no matter what it takes. Emails will come flying your way, phone calls at all hours of the day, heck they'll even find your cell phone number and call you while you're finally relaxing at the beach or spending time with your family at your children's events! And THAT'S what this business is all about. Hunting is fun in the outdoors but hunting in network marketing is extremely time-consuming and that is counter-productive. Why? Let me ask you this question: Did you get into network marketing to invest more time away from your family, or did you get into network marketing to CREATE MORE TIME FOR YOUR FAMILY? Think about it for a minute. If you have been in this industry for more than a year and you have given it everything you've got, how much time have you TAKEN AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY trying to build your business the "old fashioned way"? Enough Said: Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #3You will not make very much money trying to build your business leading with your product, unless it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Do people really buy a drill because they want a drill? Or do they buy a drill because they want a hole?
To build a fast business and a large business, you need to sponsor the right people. You do need to sponsor people in your target market. That is why we need to learn how to meet people at THEIR level. Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #4Earlier I said: "leading with a product is not the way to do it". Lead with an inexpensive generic product that every single person who is involved with network marketing wants/needs. By leading with a generic product, you meet people at THEIR LEVEL and you begin to open doors. Remember this for the rest of your life: NETWORK Marketing is all about relationships. Build lasting relationships, don't burn bridges and continually add to your network marketing rolodex. Just last week, we sponsored a network marketing lead broker we have done business with since 1998. It is the first and only time we have ever shared a business with him. He chose us over someone else because.........you can guess that right? Leading with an inexpensive product that network marketers WANT will allow you to earn some advertising money up front and give you the ability to stay in the game a lot longer. This process is called the MLM Funded Proposal. Documented all over the internet is the fact that 95% of all businesses fail and they fail miserably. The number one reason they fail? Lack of money coming in (from sales) and a ton of money going out (in advertising)! This process will stop that financial hemorrhaging in its tracks. How? By leading off with an inexpensive product network marketers want (or feel that they NEED)...this allows you to earn some money up front which will give you the ability to stay in the game longer. Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #5Get a mentor to assist you through your new network marketing system. Bug this person to death until you understand the concept and can apply it 100% of the time. Don't try to re-invent the wheel, take what they have, learn it and then implement it. After 6-8 months, if you personally need to tweak a few things, then do so... but don't change things TOO fast! If you have a system that is PROVEN to work, why make more work for yourself? Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: Lesson #6Are you subscribed to a few newsletters? What's your purpose in subscribing to those newsletters? To learn something that will help you build your business? Well, guess what? The author of those newsletters has a purpose as well. Yes, it is to get you valuable information but their ulterior motive is to build a relationship with you. They nurture their newsletter lists, they share their lives with the list and eventually they become a "common name" in your vocabulary. Every time you see their newsletter come into your inbox, you don't hesitate-you open it. From time to time, they might offer you something that they ran into that helped them make a few extra dollars. Do you realize those few extra dollars can be between $5000 in one day to $100,000 in 3 or 4 months, depending on the size of their newsletter group? How many of your network marketing mentors teach you this concept? Do you realize that a good network marketing sponsoring system will have that built in? Become the "HUNTED" instead of the HUNTER! How To Sponsor Network Marketers: SummaryThere are many reasons "why" people join network marketing companies, but we all have the same common goal: TO MAKE MONEY! If you had a choice, would you want to Work Harder or Work Smarter? This is why it makes a lot of sense to use a system based-approach...and also why a whole lot of people are having a TON of fun using the MLM Funded Proposal system! It takes about 88 pages in hard copy to really get the gist of what I have written here. But suffice it to say: A lot of network marketers are learning how to offer a cheap product up front and then they allow these people to "sell" themselves on your primary business.
